What’s been happening:

After starting my journalism career in Pittsburgh, I joined the staff of Equitable Gas (now EQT), but transferred to Houston with my husband (also a Penn State grad) in 1983 after the birth of our first son. I launched my own public relations consulting firm and got my MBA from the University of Houston in 1988. A second son was born in 1985, and he will also graduate from Penn State in May 2009. In addition to running my business which also includes association management, I gathered many skills through volunteering not only with my children's schools and activities, but also in professional, church and civic activities. My favorite memories of Penn State are in the Daily Collegian offices at the old Carnegie Building.
